Peter is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the Institute of Directors, and has spent many years in the construction industry in the UK, Ireland and the Middle East as an engineer and project manager. He has extensive knowledge and experience of all aspects of construction dispute resolution and has dealt with over 3,000 disputes including more than 500 adjudications and 500 arbitrations. He has also acted as a mediator and as a facilitator in both construction and IT disputes on contracts worth up to £3 billion.

Lisa is a Director of CCC having worked with the firm for approximately 10 years.

Lisa has experience in contentious matters including adjudication, arbitration, litigation and mediation. Lisa has worked for clients across various sectors of the construction industry. This includes a dispute against a £500M turnover main contractor which then instructed CCC to act on its behalf.

Lisa also has experience of dealing with a range of non-contentious matters including contract advice, providing ongoing commercial assistance on live projects and giving seminars to clients on a variety of topics. This includes training.

Lisa has worked with international clients and has been involved in a multi-billion dollar dispute on a US based project for a European client.

The bulk of Christopher’s work at CCC is contentious. Acting for both claiming and defending parties, he has experience across a wide range of construction projects, including schools, university buildings, rail projects, aviation projects, hospitals, house building projects, retail and other private projects, and engineering projects. This includes working with international clients on projects in the UK and abroad.

Christopher has extensive experience of acting for a wide range of specialist contractors, and enjoys applying legal principles to the factual circumstances that arise on projects. Applying the good practice learnt from his contentious work, Christopher undertakes a wide range of non-contentious work, spanning contract reviews, seminars, advice on preparation of contracts, and providing ongoing commercial assistance on projects from start to end.

Christopher has an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King’s College London and is a member of the Adjudication Society. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and received the President’s prize 2016 for achieving the highest mark in that year of those sitting the same examination.

Alan joined CCC in October 2017 having previously worked for a large national law firm. Alan has completed a degree in Law and a further Masters degree in Commercial Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Alan’s work within CCC involves assisting fee-earners with a wide range of work for both international and domestic clients. Alan has recently been working on a multi-million pound facade dispute in London and a high value service contract dispute.

Emilija joined CCC in 2017 with a qualifying law degree and is continuing her professional development alongside the work at CCC. Her work at CCC revolves primarily around assisting the fee-earners with contentious matters, the preparation of a wide range of contract claims and the running of a series of complex Adjudications in high value disputes for both UK and international clients. Emilija’s experience is mainly in working with multimillion pound disputes and extension of time claims on complex residential, commercial and mixed-purpose building projects and with multimillion pound disputes in the social housing sector.
